Farewell, Alberto Galgano

He was Past Chairman of FEACO from 1969 to 1974.

The whole Italian and European management consulting community mourns the loss of Alberto Galgano, one of the greatest protagonist of the Italian lean movement.

Past Chairman of the European Federation of Management Consultancies Associations – FEACO from 1969 to 1974, he co-founded and chaired the first Italian representative association of management consulting AICOD. He was one of the first to receive the prestigious Akao Prize by the Quality Function Deployment Institute.

“We are very saddened to hear of this loss,” said Ezio Lattanzio Chairman of FEACO and Past President of Confindustria Assoconsult, “Alberto introduced the Total Quality Management in Italy and we are grateful for his contribution in innovating the management systems in private and public sector”.

Alberto passed away at the age of 90.
