New European Coalition of Leading Business Consultancy Firms Launches Manifesto Offering New Approaches for Managing Change in Europe

The Pendo Group - "Europe's path to growth and jobs depends on its ability to bring about and manage change"

Brussels, 3 October 2006

Six leading business consulting firms have come together today to launch the Pendo group, with the aim of helping the EU become more competitive and innovative by managing change more effectively. As EU growth and job creation rates continue to lag behind those of its competitors, the group argues that although European policymakers acknowledge the need to change, they have been struggling with how to bring about change.

Speaking at the launch of the group, the Pendo group's spokesperson, Hans Ulrich Maerki said: "Change is not easy, but without clear principles on how to manage change, the process loses focus and momentum. We're here to sharpen that focus, and give policymakers the tools they need to deliver change just like our member companies do with companies and public organisations every day."
