DG Energy & Transport
The Directorate-General for Energy and Transport (or DG TREN) is the European Commission’s department responsible for developing and implementing European policies in the energy and transport field. EC contract notices relating to these fields can be found here.

EuropeAid Cooperation Office
EuropeAid is responsible for the implementation of all the Commission’s external assistance programmes, financed by the Community budget and EDF (ACP countries) with the exception of pre-accession instruments, ECHO (humanitarian aid), macro-financial assistance, CFSP actions and The Rapid Reaction Facility. The web site also includes the ‘Quick Tender Search’ facility.
European Agency for Reconstruction
The vast majority of EAR tenders are published on the EuropeAid site. A small portion of these projects is locally advertised. A link is included here.
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
The EBRD provides project financing for banks, industries and businesses in 27 countries from central Europe to Central Asia. The link will take you to a page which contains information on procurement policy and procurement notices.

The European Union provides support for less prosperous regions across the EU. This site provides contact information on managing authorities at national, regional or another level, which select the projects and monitor implementation.
Tenders Electronic Daily (TED)
TED is published as a supplement to the Official Journal of the European Commisson, (the ‘S’ series) and contains tender notifications exceeding specific contract values. Each day the Supplement to the Official Journal publishes over 650 tenders providing information on: public works; supply and service contracts from EU Members States; public contracts of EU institutions; and European Development fund contracts amongst several other opportunities.
